But after I had gotten the album Freak Show, and silverchair had become my favorite band, I started to find Daniel attractive. He is definitely a very good looking person, he's funny, he's honest. So what does that make me? Am I a teenie?
This whole thing is absolutely absurd. Daniel is a man, and he's so talented and everything about him would make any typical teenaged girl get weak in the knees. I do, of course oppose to the fact that people obsessively sleep on his lawn and pull his hair out and stalk. I'm in the liberate Daniel Johns thing because I feel that Daniel should be treated as a normal human being. I'm against anyone who violates his privacy. But I really don't give a shit if someone tells me that they think that Daniel, Ben, or Chris are hot. Because to most teenies, appearance is just an added bonus. They buy their records, they go to their concerts. They probably love their music just as much as any other "anti-teenie fan". I mean, I'm sure no one would pay $40 to go to a concert and just to stare at someone good looking. I know I wouldn't. So what if they like Daniel? Or Chris, or Ben? Let them.
I think that silverchair fans on the internet have taken the whole teenie thing way too far. They're making these rules that say "You can't be a true silverchair fan if you find them attractive." They're all obsessed with making teenies non-existant, and are too ignorant to understand what's really going on.
