The purpose of Scott's Slave Cult is to bring together Scott/Five fans from around the world, in hopes of meeting new people who share similiar interests. As the site owner, I feel it's my place to state that we DO NOT worship Scott. We DO NOT stalk him. We're FANS of him; both his music and him as a person. Sure, Scott's good-looking, but that's not the only reason the members of the cult like him (And if the only reason why you like him is because he is "so sexy", then please don't even bother joining, or I'll be thoroughly pissed). I personally have never met Scott (and I probably never will), but he seems like the type of person that would be very easy to get along with. And no, it's not my life-long dream and ambition to marry Scott someday. Sure, we would all enjoy to, but face it folks, it's NOT gonna happen (sorry for shattering some teenybopper dreams). And no, my room is not plastered entirely of pictures of Scott/Five. In fact, I don't have a single picture of them hanging in my room. I have them, but I have decided on my own accord to not put them up. Does that make me any less of a fan? Certainly not. The reason for this disclaimer is because some people have been labeling the cult as nothing more than a group of people "who are sickly obsessed with a man we will never know and the only reason why we like him is because he's hot." Ho-hum, this is far from the case. I hope that the rest of you out there can realize that our admiration for Scott is purely in good taste. Thank you for your time.
