Blizzard added a new hero to Brood War Hall of Heroes section. It's Samir Duran this time, former Confederate Operative and Special Advisor to the UED. They also added the Kerrigan Klaws pick to the BW page if you'd like another peek at it.

SC Hacks Confirmed
StarShack reported that DavidN of Blizzard confirmed there is a unit hack for SC v1.04 that allows you to break the 200 unit limit. DavidN denied there was a working map hack for v1.04 based on the fact that no one had proved it existed. He's gotta be blushing now since gAMBITT of SS put up screens confirming the hack does exist and works. View the screens below. Here's what gAMBITT said about the hack.I've managed to get some screenshots from the MapHack working. It seems to work the same as 1.03 Hack with the ON/OFF option. Zerg creep still isnt shown and firebats have that funny white ball when they fire and you can see pylon area coverage. You can check the screenshot out at the following address'. Dune 2000 Freebies !!
This is taken right of the PC.IGN page cuz I'm lazy :) Lots of goodies tho so read on :Westwood's Christmas gift to gamers everywhere is a slew of units and maps for Dune 2000. StarHack Closing
StarHack was the first site to put up SC related progs/utilities and quickly got a slap from Blizz. There's an announcement up that Mark isn't going to be maintaining the site anymore, but that if someone is interested in taking over contact him. He warns you'll have to find your own server space and he will be picky on who inherits the page. Go check the site and make sure you have all the progs you'd like since he says he doesn't know how much longer the site will stay up. And why not email him to say thanks for all the progs he brought us :)

SC v1.04 Bug
There's a glitch with the Goliath in singleplayer mode SC v1.04. Course it does involve using a cheat code so I don't think it'll be that big of a prob for a lot of ppl. Read the post here. Thanks for the info Nukefest.

PC Gamer to Include Antioch Chronicles
A couple days ago Yggdrasil.net started a campaign to get PC Gamer to add The Antioch Chronicles to their Level Paradise SC section. Well like I said I emailed them cuz I thought it was a great idea. Today I recieved an email from Bill Harms at PC Gamer. He tells me that they will be adding the Antioch Chronicles as soon as the reviewer gets back from the holidays! Guess we can stop harrassing the guy now :)
Brood War Scans
SC Abundance has scans of the Brood War box up. They're very good quality and kinda fun to look at. There's something about a free action figure but you can't make the offer out. The flaps have pics of all the new units that's pretty cool and I still say that medic looks like an action figure. On the trivial side, the manual fits inside the jewel case this time. Brood War Shelf Dates
You should expect to see Brood War hitting the shelves in Canada and the U.S. today. Expect to see it in Europe around January 11th.

Patch 1.04 Corrections
Shlonglor reposted the text file for Patch 1.04 that includes the corrections. Lot of things were changed so check it out. You can also download a new Star Edit help file with info on the triggers and new Star Edit features but he didn't include a direct link to it. I'm guessing it's here.
Diablo II Webmaster Chat
Blizz held a webmaster chat yesterday. Diablo II.net has the entire transcript up for ya. There's also an analysis of the chat in the Editorial section. They also put together an Uber preview compiled from four recent previews of D2 and a chat with Bill Roper from a couple weeks ago.
3Dfx and Diablo II Info
Blizzard has put up the latest information on 3Dfx support and Diablo II. I can't say you'll really find a lot of info here tho :\ I was hoping for a list of chipsets, recommended cards, something with a little teeth in it.
