Blizzard has put up an announcement concerning the recent beta list. More of an explanation as to why the list was small, why they give it to fansites, etc...Open to Debate??
I got this in my newsletter and thought I'd pass it on in case anyone would like to try it out. The only thing I can't believe is that there is doubt as to whether Back Orifice exists or not :\BoDetect - Whether or not the dreaded "Back Orifice" backdoor hacker utility really exists is still open to debate. Gamecenter has an article up discussing the quality of gameplay in some of the biggest sellers out there: TA, SC, Quake2 and Unreal. While these games taxed many peoples computer systems to their limits, did they really push any envelopes in gameplay? I found it an interesting read. Check it out here. I MADE THE BETA BABY !!!!!!
Wooooo Hoooooo!!!! :) After going crazy for several days cuz my name was on the list but no email had come, I got a nice little present last night :) My beta confirmation!!! I just want to clear up that I'm not ragging on Brood War Dynasty. I think it WILL be a kick @ss site when they get everything up. Actually, SC1.com was the one I was ragging on. =POn Deathwing
I also posted a few days ago that SilentBob was Deathwing. He's posted in the forums and at Infoceptor that he's not, that Silent Bob just has the same ISP and lives in the same city. I _guess_ I'll take his word for this, though at the least it's probably one of his friends. Sorry for the confusion Deathwing.Congrats are in Order!

The Worst Top 10 Out There
I've checked out Starcraft1.com's top 10 list b4 and saw nothing to go Woo Hoo over. But this weeks has an entry that makes me just go HUH!?!?!? Brood War Dynasty opened this weekend and it's allready #8 on a top 10 list?? They say and I quote " Right now, with the absence of Broodwar.com, this is the best Brood War related site on the net." For What??? Overall content of the site? news? Or is it just politics?? must be politics cuz this site is full of 404 errors (dead links) and they've got minimal info at best. Now I'm sure this site will improve as time goes on and with all the publicity it's getting will probably be a ruling BW site. I'm not ragging on them. I'm ragging on SC1.com for putting up nothing more that a kiss up list.Advanced Trigger Guide
Mtrout has released an Advanced Trigger Guide. The guide gives examples of how to create special trigger affects like those found in his RPG scm's. With the Brood War beta coming I'm sure we'll start to see several Brood War sites open. The first of these, (that I found out about anyway) is called Brood War Dynasty. It has a nice layout, cool graphics and etc but there's not really alot of info up yet. Looks like it has possibilites tho. I also went and checked out the much hyped site everyone was expecting to open so long ago Brood War.com. It still isn't open :\Yawn
Well if you call a lot of fighting, name calling and hit getting antics news then I guess SC.Org and scLegacy were the sites to hit this weekend. It all just looks like cheap attention getting to me so this is all the insight into that little scene u will get here. The basic outcome tho is that BGC has now affiliated itself with SC.Org and dropped scLegacy. Like I said, I don't really know that this is news...
