I was studying in Rasta Peth Highschool. I was living in nearby area
- near to Narpatgeer chowk.
When in Pune, I had lot of opportunities for self-development as well
as career development.
I participated in 'Antar shaleya kavita spardha' and got prize. Also
participated in 'Katha kathan spardha' and got prize.
I stood 1st in final exams of 5th standard!
Believe me, on top of all these achievements, I got real touch of 'katta'
culture. I had good friends.
I used to hang out most of the time of day.
We established a 'ganesh mandal' , collected fund and did ganesh sthapana
in our 'waada'. On second day, suddenly striked to mind that the ganapati
was not near our house, but near my friend's hose and he was keeping it
in his house at nights for safety.And that friend said he will take out
all the decoration from outside of his house and put it in his own house.
So we felt cheated. So one day in afternoon, I and my sis grabed all the
decorative items from the place and just brought it and kept in our home!!!
I used to fly kites of different types and was always 'high flyer'
( I mean kite )
I had a handsome collection of match boxes, train and bus tickets,
cigaratte covers, different types and colors of stones and what not....
Here I developed my interest in reading as well as writing.
Written one story and one poem for school hastalikhit. Started to write
one novel on jungle boy, of course it was inspired by Tarzen! This novel
was afterwards published in my 8th Standard hasta likhit when I was at
Pen.
And reading..... started reading Marathi books. Mainly started with
Ramesh Mantri, Da. Ma. Mirasdar.
And I can keep on writing..... but have to write about other places too......!!
