Bentley arrives, June 2004
I almost accused T of making a special trip home just so she could meet our new puppy! Bentley is a mixed breed, mostly Australian shepherd. We adopted him from Wilkes County Humane Society. He's learning very quickly to step up to the left-over milk bowl and claim his share. Bridgette occasionally growls when he invades her space, but we think she is happy to have company, of the four-legged variety, in the yard with her again. (Our Great Dane, Abbey Victoria of Sweetwater, died of bone cancer in April.)
T (the human) and Bridgette (the brown dog) both welcome Bentley to The Shadowlands.
Bentley is about 15 weeks old but already as tall as Bridgette.
Late-breaking summer news story:
Due to untimely death of Bridgette, we adopted a second puppy whom we named Coco, obviously due to her coloring!
