Former multi-time WCW & WWF World champion "Hollywood" Hogan called into the Mancow's Morning Madhouse on Tuesday morning, and delivered a blistering interview filled with controversial statements...
Said that at Owen's funeral, he stared Vince in the eye, and Vince stared right back. When he went to speak to the McMahon's, Linda gave him a big hug, Stephanie (who Hogan said is terrified of him, because she doesn't know him) shook his hand while Shane "stood tall" and told Hogan that it was great seeing him. Then, according to Hogan, he even went to shake Pat Patterson's hand, but Patterson (who Hogan called a "faggot") turned his back and refused to shake Hogan's hand. "The Hulk" fellt this was not only disrespectful to him personally, but to Owen, as well. Hogan went on to say that while he hates what the McMahon's are doing to wrestling, he still respects them.
Says that he's ready to come back, "save pro wrestling," and he's not worried about the politics of what he does or says. Said that WCW is in bad shape, even though Mancow stated that he feels that WCW has only gotten better and better as of late.
When asked about Sid, he showed no ill-will towards the big man, and even said he was glad to see him back. He did note Sid's less than dependable past, and said he hope's Sid will be manage to stick around longer than the Warrior.
When asked about the soon-to-be-returning Dennis Rodman, Hogan was a little surprising in his criticisms of Rodman. Hogan said that the first time "he held his own" but that Rodman "dropped the ball" during his 2nd stint in WCW last summer. He went on to make fun of Rodman's propensity to wear women's clothing and makeup, as well as a throwing in a jab or two about Rodman's on-again, off-again wife Carmen Electra.
When asked when he will be making his return to WCW, Hogan said that he may very well show up at the Bash at the Beach PPV.
