The show began with one of the coller things I've seen in awhile. Every Superstar in the WWF came to the ring, by onesies, twosies, and whole stables. Two major omitions however. DX, and The Rock. The Rock's music hit and he made his way down to a ring surrounded by superstars. He announced that they have elected him to be their speaker, and called out Triple H and Stephanie. The Rock threatened that if Triple H didn't meet their demands, every superstar is planning on walking out and joining the World Rock Federation (WRF). First on the list, Reinstate MICK FOLEY! Triple H agreed, but said that he was planning on it anyway. Secondly, no more "You're Fired" or Pink Slip Matches. Once again, they buckled. Lastly, no unjustified firings. Again, they agreed. What's this? Screeching tires? MANKIND IS BACK! Mick Foley made his way through the crowd, and into the ring to thank The Rock. He set up the Main Event for the Royal Rumble, with a few stipulations to be added later. Mick Foley vs. Triple H at Madison Square Garden! The Rock then got the stick again, and threw his name into the Royal Rumble. Mick and The Rock then put together one hell of a card for tonight. Road Dogg vs. Billy Gunn Now that was a cool beginning ;D During the break, the remaining members of DX became really hostile with Triple H and walked out on him. Road Dogg vs. Mr. Ass After the match, Road Dogg extended his hand but Mr. Ass just shoved him and left the ring. Uh oh. Backstage, The Hardy Boyz with Terri are shown signing up for a match later tonight. The Hardy Boyz vs. Kurt Angle and Steve Blackman Mankind shown with the fake Mankind (Mideon) tied up in a room as he taunts him. European Title Match Edge is engaged to Val Venis' sister, and Edge announced that Val wouldn't be the best man because Christian would be. He seemed quietly pissed off, but didn't express it in anyway. Backstage, the problems between DX continued as Road Dogg and Mr. Ass continued to fight. Chris Jericho and Chyna vs. The Holly Cousins Backstage Mankind threw hot coffee in the face of Faux-Mankind. Non-Title Match 6 Man Tag Match Backstage Mick Foley warned the fake Mankind that if he didn't cooperate, he's have to watch an hour of Al Snow matches! MWAHAHAHAHA! After much deliberation, he finally agreed to untie the poor guy. D'Lo Brown and Godfather vs. The Dudley Boyz HAHAHA! Backstage Mankind went up to Tori and said that they never got a chance to talk anymore. He said "I've always wanted to tell you how much I admire your .. sweaty, heavy, voluptious breasts!" HAHA! "I've always told you that I'm a good kisser, but in addition to that I've compiled a list of 17 other things I'd like to do to those bad boys." Sorry, I have to wipe a tear from my eyes now. ;) He said that he'd be in room 3, waiting for her. After the break, Tori brought Kane to room 3 to destroy Mankind but found the faux-Mankind and started beating. Kane administered one royal beating to poor Mideon as he ran out of the building. Test and The Big Show vs. Bossman and Prince Albert After the match, Albert knocked down Bossman and Big Show did a DOUBLE Chokeslam to both men! DX vs. The Acolytes and The Rock 'n' Sock Connection After the match, Triple H continued the assault on Mankind. Mankind is busted wide open. Mankind taking control again! Picks up the steel steps and almost takes off Triple H's head. Pieces of the Announce Table are flying everywhere! Hip Toss through the table! I could've sworn I just saw Mankind give the "Bang Bang!" hand thingy. Shivers, absolute shivers.

Falls Count Anywhere Match
David Flair and Crowbar with Daffney Unger d. The Filthy Animals with Rey Mysterio, Jr. and The Revolution with Asya
The Filthy Animals and The Revolution started the fight before the champions even came to the ring. Once they came out, all six remained inside, each team trying to annihilate one another. Daffney Unger screamed at the top of her lungs for no reason. Malenko attacked Mysterio outside the ring as Perry Saturn headed into the crowd. Douglas and Malenko put Mysterio onto a table by the stage. Saturn appeared from above on the first tier of the balcony where he jumped down, crashing through the table with Rey on it. Both men were injured in the jump, but David Flair seized the moment and covered Saturn for the win, retaining the tag team titles. Rey Mysterio was wheeled out on a stretcher.
Funk carried a branding iron from his infamous Double Cross Ranch. Funk named his group the Old Age Outlaws. Arn said he would get revenge on the nWo sometime in the night. Zbyszko said that tradition still rules and legends never die. Orndorff pointed out the Power Plant Elite at ringside. The nWo music played and the band hit the stage with their bevy of beauties. Nash berated Funk's attire. Funk told Jarrett he would be in three matches - a wrestling match, a bunkhouse match, and a steel cage match. Funk told Jarrett he would be facing three of Terry's very close friends and the referee would be Chris Benoit. Bret said that wasn't fair, so Funk told him his match for the night. Bret would be defending the WCW Title against fellow nWo member Kevin Nash. The Funker said if they took it easy on each other, they would be suspended for a year without pay and Bret would be stripped of the title. In closing, the commish told Scott Steiner that he would get his mouth washed out with soap.
This was a five-minute face to face interview to try to get some of their problems out in the air. They were told that if they lost their tempers and came to blows, they would be fined $50,000. DDP tried to antagonize Buff, but Bagwell said he and Kimberly were just friends. Page accused Buff of hitting on his wife at a bar in Little Rock, but Bagwell once again said he and Kim were only friends. Backstage, Kimberly watched on a monitor. Bagwell said he would take a lie detector test. DDP said the boys tell him that Buff brags about Kim's birthmark. When Buff said all the boys have seen it, DDP punched him twice in the face but, as he turned to leave, Bagwell attacked Page with a police baton and slapped his face, all the while still proclaiming his innocence.
George "The Animal" Steele d. Jeff Jarrett
Benoit was the special referee. Jarrett came to the ring with a wheelbarrow full of plunder. The Old Age Outlaws came out and introduced George "The Animal" Steele as Jarrett's first opponent. Steele came to the ring with a bucket of trash cans, which he threw into the ring. As Steele ripped open a turnbuckle, Jarrett blasted him with a guitar shot. The Chosen One turned around and was caught with a spinebuster courtesy of Anderson. Benoit rolled Steele on top of Jarrett and counted the three count, giving The Animal the win.
Ray put down the entire announcing team and the people of Buffalo. Ray said that Harlem Heat never got a chance until Booker T went solo and won the TV Title. Booker and Midnight came to the ring. Booker asked his brother what the problem was. Booker said he would never wrestle his brother, but as he walked away, Ray spun him around and slapped him across the face. Booker then said he would wrestle Stevie at Souled Out.
Tito Santana d. Jeff Jarrett
Funk came to the ring and introduced Tito Santana as the next opponent for Jeff Jarrett. The Chosen One pushed the Buffalo Bills' Ted Washington at ringside. Once inside, Jarrett and Santana hooked it up, with the US champion getting the better of the fight. Jarrett and Benoit shoved each other, allowing Tito to take control. As Zbyszko "distracted" Benoit, Washington came from the crowd and up onto the apron. He shoved Jarrett into an awaiting Paul Orndorff piledriver. "Mr. Wonderful" put Tito on top and Benoit counted the fall, making Jarrett's record for the night 0-2 so far.
Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka d. Jeff Jarrett
Jarrett beat on Snuka, running him again and again into the steel cage. Benoit came down the aisle and entered the ring. Once inside, Benoit fought Jarrett, taking him to the canvas. The Crippler started to the top, but Jarrett stopped him. Orndorff and Zbyszko entered the ring and took Jarrett down. As Snuka turned around and noticed Jarrett out on the mat, He started is ascent to the top of the cage on one side, as Benoit did the same on the other. Snuka rewrote history, delivering his patented splash from the top of the cage, followed by a Benoit diving headbutt from the same level. Superfly covered Jarrett and The Crippler counted the 1-2-3 for the win.
No Contest - Kevin Nash vs. Bret Hart
Nash started strong against The Hitman, but Hart pounded back on his fellow nWo mate. Bret connected with a headbutt that slowed both men down. Hart went to work on the left knee of Big Sexy, wearing him down for the patented Sharpshooter. Nash recovered and maneuvered Bret into the corner, delivering a series of stinging elbows to the head. A low blow brought The Hitman to the canvas. Hart returned the favor, catching Nash with a back kick between the legs. Nash retrieved a chair from ringside, but was leveled by Arn Anderson with a lead pipe. Anderson took over as the referee as Sid made his way to the ring. The cage lowered from the ceiling, locking Sid, Bret, and Arn inside. Vicious delivered two powerbombs to the world champion and Anderson counted a three count, foreshadowing what may very well happen at Souled Out on Sunday. The commish came down the aisle with a flaming branding iron in hand and proceeded to "brand" Kevin Nash on the stomach as Nitro went off the air.
