God has given me these faux meat recipes to share freely with the world during financially hard times so you can feed the people you need to feed with much less money than real meat would cost. I hope you are able to invent even more recipes using these as a basic guideline, and will share them freely with others to use as well. Any of the seasonings I list can be added more or less to suit your own taste preferences, since every country in the world has different seasonings they prefer to use. Feel free to use these recipes anytime you cannot afford real meat. Most people won't know they are not eating real meat, unless you tell them.

A food processor will be needed to create breadcrumbs. It is a good investment to have in your kitchen. It can also be used to mix everything together. You can purchase one online at KitchenCollection.com or locally at Walmart or in any large department or grocery store. Basically, you use your favorite bread slices that are turned into breadcrumbs with a few additions mixed in. The broth that you cook them in and the seasonings added determines how they will taste. They really do taste like meat once they are cooked. They can be made ahead of time and frozen individually wrapped to use as needed and reheated in your microwave or a skillet on the stovetop. Breadcrumbs can be purchased at local grocery stores, but homemade breadcrumbs are so much better tasting and so easy to make in a few seconds using a food processor.
