REPENTANCE

Did you know that each of us has a choice as to where we will spend Eternity?

God does not force us into either choice. He leaves it entirely up to each individual, giving us free will. Is your name written in the Book of Life with the Blood of Jesus Christ? We all have a choice of two places to spend Eternity, Heaven or The Lake of Fire.

What about Hell?

The Bible says that Hell and its occupants will be cast into the Lake of Fire to burn for Eternity.

Revelation 20:12-15 says, "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Revelation 20:10 - "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever."

Revelation 21:4 - "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Will money be able to buy you out of this?

Mark 8:36 - "For what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul?"

Money will NOT help you get to Heaven. If you have money, use it to help others.

How then can a person get to Heaven?

There is only one way and that is through the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. He died on that cross at Calvary and took on Himself the sins of all mankind so that through His Sacrifice we can have Eternal Life.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3:17 - "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world through Him might be saved."

John 4:24 - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth."

Jesus said in John 5:39 - "Search the Scriptures: for in them you think you have Eternal Life: and they are they which testify of me."

Jesus said in John 6:35 - "I am the Bread of Life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger: and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst."

Is it possible to get to Heaven on our good works in this life?

No, it is only possible to get to Heaven through the Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross at Calvary. There was one drop that He shed just for you. Salvation is a gift to us from God and free to us all. We were put on this earth to serve God and help our fellow man.

Good works can cause you to get a reward in Heaven, but nothing more. Even if you live a good life and have never confessed you're a sinner and asked His forgiveness for your sins, then you are not saved. What a shame it would be for a morally good person to not make it into Heaven because they refused to acknowledge Jesus Christ and what He did for us all on Calvary and ask His forgiveness of their sins! Acknowledge Him as your Savior before it is too late, my friend.

Ephesians 2:8, 9 says, "For by grace (Jesus Christ) are you saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the Gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Can you tell me the plan of Salvation or how I can become born-again?

At some point in your life, you will realize that you are a sinner. God always gives us at least one opportunity to repent. Remember, we are all born into a sinful nature as babies because of the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. When we reach the age of accountability, we become responsible to God for our own sinful nature.

Romans 3:10 - "There are none righteous, no not one."

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 5:8 - "While we were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died for us."

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death: but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Proverbs 14:12 - "There is a way that seemeth right to man, but the end thereof is death."

Romans 10:3, 4 tells us, Don't try to establish righteousness because Christ came to fullfill the Law of the Prophets and end it.

We are now living in the Age of Grace (Jesus Christ).

Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus Christ) shall be saved."

Romans 10:9, 10 - "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation."

Pray to God to forgive you of your sins, ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life, and live each day as best you can for Jesus Christ.
Ask Jesus Christ to cover your sins with His Precious Blood and He will wash all your sins away and you will become a new creature through Him. Your old desires will pass away and you will have new desires to do His will in your life. Each day Christ will lead you and guide you in His will. Acknowledge that He is the only begotten Son of God and that He was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead. Acknowledge that He is now at the right Hand of God our Heavenly Father. Thank Him that He gave us the Holy Spirit to lead us, guide us, and comfort us daily. He gives us the Holy Angels to help us in our daily work.

All of this must be accepted through faith.

Matthew 17:20 - "If you have the faith of a grain of mustard seed..."

Romans 10:17 - "Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes from the Word of God."

Hebrews 11:1 - "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen."

Our daily walk with Christ must be done in faith. It will not always be an easy walk but He is right there with us to see us through whatever we are going through. Faith does not make life easy. It just gives us strength to cope with it.

Read your Bible and search the scriptures yourself so you will embed them in your heart.

Pray to God for guidance every day.

If you make a mistake, don't throw up your hands and quit, ask forgiveness again, and keep right on serving God.

Praise the Lord!

How can I become a born-again Christian?

The above question is probably the most important question you will ever answer in your entire life.

Jesus Christ said, "Except a man be born again, he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:3

Only by being born-again with a Spiritual birth can anyone become a member of God's family. Every person since Adam and Eve, except Jesus Christ, has been born into sin with a sinful nature. Because of this nature we all are sinners, and God, who is Holy, cannot tolerate sin.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

If you have not been born-again, you are under the sentence of death and will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, forever separated from God. Being born-again is a Spiritual birth that comes from the Holy Spirit. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live in your life. Being a good person will not get you into eternal life. The only ticket is through the blood of Jesus Christ being applied to your sins by asking forgiveness of God though Jesus Christ.

What do you have to do to be saved or born-again?

First, you must realize that you are a sinner, and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins. This is called Repentance.

Acts 3:19 says, "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out..."

When you truly repent of your sins, you no longer want to do those same things that you were doing. You become a new person through the blood of Jesus Christ. He applies His precious Blood to your sins and washes them away to be remembered no more. You have a desire to live your life in a manner that is pleasing to Him now.

Second, you must believe by faith that He has saved you now. Do you believe that Christ died on the Cross at Calvary for you?
If your answer is yes, this is an act of faith. Jesus Christ died on that cross to pay the penalty for the entire world's sins. He paid the ultimate price with His life so that we could be saved. He was the Ultimate Sacrificial Lamb of God. Ask Him to forgive you by praying the Repentance Prayer on this page.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

Then it is up to you by faith to receive Him into your heart and life.

"As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God..." John 1:12

You are actually born-again when you believe on Jesus Christ and His Blood is applied spiritually to your sins.

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life." John 3:36

"If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9,10

God does not want anyone of us to perish.

"God is long-suffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." II Peter 3:9

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"He that believeth in the Son hath everlasting Life, and he that believeth not the Son shall not see Life, but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36

"For by Grace are you saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the Gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8,9

What is Faith?

"Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen." Hebrews 11:1

How does one get Faith?

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes from the Word of God." Romans 10:17

Search the Bible's Scriptures daily and read God's Word for yourself. Don't take anyone else's words to be true. Read His Word for your own benefits. For it is through God's Word that we as Christians can grow stronger in the Lord. We must keep ourselves renewed daily through the Holy Spirit and through His Word.

May the Good Lord bless each one of you who reads this page.

The Repentance Prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father, God,
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Only Begotten Son, the
Savior of all the human race. I believe He died on the cross at Calvary for me, and He bore all of my sins. He paid the price for my sins with His Own Precious Blood. He took the punishment that I deserved. I believe Jesus was resurrected from the dead and is now seated at Your Right Hand. I need You, Jesus. Please forgive me of my sins, save me, and let Your Holy Spirit come to live inside me. I want to be born again. Help me to live daily according to Your Holy Word. Help my will to be subjected to Your Will daily.
In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen."

Now believe that Jesus Christ is living in your heart. You are forgiven and made righteous. When Jesus comes in the Rapture you will go back with Him to Heaven. If you are able, find a good church to attend that teaches God's Word and begin to grow in Christ. If you are not able to find a church, then watch preachers on television who can teach you about the Scriptures. Nothing will change your life without knowledge of God's Word. Read your Bible and pray to God daily as often as you can. Study God's Word. Walk in the Holy Spirit, not your flesh. Renew your mind daily through Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures. Pay 10% of your gross income to the place where you get your soul fed spiritually. God's riches will be poured out upon you for doing this. It is His will for His children to prosper. By paying tithes you will receive good health and prosperity in your life. The 90% you have left will go farther than the entire 100% without paying tithes. If you don't believe this, try it and see for yourself.

God looks at a person's heart or the real Inner You. If you are home bound and cannot go to church, do not feel that you are displeasing God. He knows and He understands each situation. Just do the best you can every day, and serve the Lord in any opportunity that He opens for you. You do not have to go to church to enjoy Salvation. Church should be a hospital for sinners, not a sanctuary for saints. It should be a place to get the Soul fed with Biblical teachings and have Christian fellowship with other believers. Make sure you can follow a churches rules and teachings before you decide to join them. You will need to be baptized by them. They can make special provisions if you are disabled.

If you should make a mistake, don't quit. Ask forgiveness through prayer and keep right on going. Don't let Satan defeat you. Keep on serving the Lord, Jesus Christ every day!

May the good Lord bless each one who reads this page, and may your new life in Christ be rich and rewarding every day. May you be blessed with perfect health, perfect wealth, and true happiness. May you always have true Joy in the Lord in your Eternal Soul.
