The Holy Bible's Roman Road To Salvation

The Romans Road will help you to explain to another person how to become a Christian.

1. Who needs Salvation?

Everyone needs Salvation because we have all sinned.

Romans 3:10 says, "There is none good, no, not even one."

Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

2. The price or consequence of sin is death.

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ, our Lord."

3. Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary as the Ultimate Sacrifice for our sins. He paid the price of death for our sins. Then He arose from the dead on the third day, and is now in Heaven.

Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died for us."

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life."

I Timothy 3:16 says, "God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Holy Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

4. We receive Salvation and Eternal Life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9-10 and 13 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus as your Savior and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. It is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

5. Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God.

Romans 5:1 says, "Since we are justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord, Jesus Christ."

Romans 8:1 says, "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Jesus Christ."

Romans 8:38-39 says, "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love that is revealed in Christ Jesus, our Lord."

How can you respond to the Romans Road?

1. Admit that you are a sinner.

2. Understand that as a sinner, you deserve death.

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died on Calvary's cross to save you from sin and death, and that He was raised from the dead on that 3rd day, and is now in Heaven.

4. Repent by turning from your life of sin to a new life in Christ.

5. Receive, by faith in Jesus Christ, his free gift of Salvation.

6. Pray to God, our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ every day, and read The Holy Bible, and ask The Holy Spirit to enlighten you as to what the Scriptures mean, to lead and direct your paths, so that God's will is done in your life now, so you can be a servant of God, and do whatever work He has for you to do. Prayer is talking to God, pouring out from your heart whatever you want to say. It is through memorizing Scriptures that we are able to fight Satan each day when he tries to tempt us into sinning again.

7. If you are able to attend a church and work in that church, find one that you want to join, and be baptized in water by the minister. It is good to have other Christian believers help give you emotional support and Christian fellowship. Make new friends who will help you grow as a Christian.
