tear after tear
they never let up
all i can do is cry
all else ive tried has failed
the stars do not yet see it fit
for all this pain to let go
release its hold over me
my eyes have not been dry
for such a long time
it all wont stop
let me breathe
understand why exactly
i feel the way i have every night
please dont let me cry tonight
ive already cried all day
not knowing why
or how this all became
just make it stop
allow me to sleep without the pain
just for this single night
