Satanism
All of the following information comes from "The Satanic Bible" by Anton LaVey 1969.
The Nine Satanic Statements:
1) Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence.
2) Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams.
3) Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit.
4) Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates.
5) Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek.
6) Satan represents responsibility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic vampires.
7) Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all fours, who because of his divine spiritual and intellectual development has become the most vicious animal of all.
8) Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical mental or emotional gratification.
9) Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years.
The roman god, Lucifer, was the bearer of light the spirit of the air, the personification of enlightenment. In christian mythology he became synonymous with evil.
If one is to believe this theological accusation that the devil represents falsehoods, then it surely must be concerned that it was HE, NOT GOD, THAT ESTABLISHED ALL SPIRITUAL RELIGIONS AND WHO WROTE ALL OF THE HOLY BIBLES!
To the satanist, god-by whatever name he is called or by no name at all- is seen at the balancing factor in nature and not as being concerned with suffering.
The satanist realizes that man and the actions and reaction of the universe are responsible for everything and doesn't mislead himself into thinking that someone cares. No longer will we sit back and accept fate without doing anything about it. just because it says so in chapter such and such psalm so and so and that's that. The satanist knows that praying does absolutely no good. In fact, it actually lessens the chance of success, for the devoutly religious too often sit back complacently and pray for a situation which if hey were to do something about it on their own could be accomplished much quicker.
The satanist, realizing that anything he gets is of his own doing takes command of the situation instead of praying to god for it to happen. Positive thinking and positive action add up to results.
When a satanist commits a wrong he realizes that it is natural t o make a mistake and if he is truly sorry about what he has done he will learn from it and take care not to do the same thing again.
All religions of a spiritual nature are inventions of man. He has created an entire system of gods with nothing more than his carnal brain. Just because he has an ego and cannot accept it he has had to externalize it into some great spiritual device which he calls god.
If he hates himself, he searches out ne and more complex spiritual paths of enlightenment in hopes that he may split himself up again in his quest for stronger and more externalized gods to scourge his poor miserable shell. If he accepts himself but recognizes that ritual and ceremony are the important devices that his invented religions have utilized to sustain his faith in a lie then is the same form of ritual that will give his awareness of his own majestic being added substance.
When all religious faith in lies has waned it is because man has become close to himself and farther from god closer to the devil. If this is what the devil represents and man lives his life in the devils's fane with the sinews of satan moving his flesh then he either escapes from the cracklings and carpings of the righteous or stands proudly in his secret places of the earth manipulates the folly ridden masses through his own satanic might until the day when he may come forth in splendor proclaiming II am a satanist bow down for I am the highest embodiment of human life.
The seven deadly sins of the Christian church are greed, pride, anger, gluttony, lust, and sloth. Satanism advocates indulging in each of these sins as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification.
Satanism differs greatly from all other so called white light white witch craft or magical groups in the world today. These self righteous and superficial religions protest that their members use the powers of magic only for altruistic purposes. Satanists look with disdain upon white witchcraft groups because they feel that altruism is sinning on the lay away plan. It is unnatural not to have the desire to gain things for yourself. Satanism represents a from of controlled selfishness.
THE FOUR CROWN PRINCES OF HELL;
Satan(Hebrew)-adversary, opposite, accuser, Lord of fire, the inferno, the south
Lucifer(Roman)-Bringer of light, enlightenment, the air, the morining star, the east.
Belial(Hebrew)-Without a master, baseneas of the earth, independence, the north.
Leviathan(Hebrew)-The sepernt out of the deeps, the saa, the west.
