Damon raised a brow, "We can't?"
Faye shook her head and moved away from him. She turned on the lights during the process. She tried her best to stay out of his reach.
"And why not?"
"Stephanie, what about her?"
Damon smiled at her, "Is that all? Are you worried about her finding out?"
Faye did not really care if Stephanie knew what went on between the two of them or not, but she nodded anyway hoping that Damon would forget about his intentions. She knew that he wouldn't though.
Damon moved closer to Faye every time that she tried to move away. "There is nothing to worried about. Stephanie won't find us."
"How do you know? Anyone can walk into the room."
He grinned at her, "Not if we lock the door."
"She will notice that you are missing."
"No she won't."
"How are you so sure?"
"She's asleep."
Faye did not like the news. "Sleep? What do you mean sleep? Did she drink too much again?"
"No, as a matter of fact she did not have anything to drink."
Faye liked this even less. "Then why is she asleep during the party?"
"That is not important." In one swift move Damon reached out and caught her arm. "What's important is that we are alone."
Faye still resisted. She knew that she could not go through with it. If she did, she would be lost. Damon pulled her closer into the circle of his arms and bent down so his face was close to hers. "Come on Faye, you know you want me."
Faye looked up at him and into his eyes. She was lost. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him with all of the passion that she had held back during the last two weeks. During the time of the kiss Damon was moving them back until the back of his legs touched the bed. Faye pulled away. She smiled at him. She gave him a gentle shove so that he would sit on the bed. "Yes, Damon, I want you. I'm not denying that. We both know that it's the truth."
She sat on his lap facing him, a knee on either side of his thighs. She wrapped her arms around him once more and moved her face until it was an inch away from his. She moved her lips even closer to his so that they were barely touching. Damon moved his lips closer trying to kiss her, but she moved back quickly. She shook her head at him. When he moved his head back she brought hers forward again. "Oh yes, Damon. I want you real bad." She kissed him gently and made the kiss short.
Damon let out a growl deep in his throat and Faye laughed. "But I'm greedy, very greedy." She kissed him once more, again it was short. "And I don't share," again she gave him a short kiss.
She grinned when she pulled back and saw the impatience in his eyes. "With anyone," she whispered and gave him the kiss that he wanted. She opened her mouth slowly and let him thrust his tongue inside. Again she teased him.
Damon growled deep in his throat and forgot the words that Faye had just spoken. She ran his hands up her thighs and heard her soft moan of pleasure as he reached the top of the splits of her skirts. He was getting ready to pull the skirt off of her when she pulled away from him. She got of his lap.
He looked up at her with confused eyes. "I mean it Damon. Not with anyone."
Faye walked to the door and opened it. She looked back at him. "You think about it and let me know later." She closed the door behind her and left him alone.
Damon stared at the closed door. 'What the hell,' he thought. He fell back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He had not expected this. He thought to have another night with her, and maybe then he would be able to forget her, but she did not allow it to happen.
He closed his eyes and began to think because it was an important decision that he had to make. He had never tied himself down with any one female. Not even Stephanie who so gratefully gave him some of her blood. He was never faithful to her, and she knew it. She never questioned him, and that was the way that he liked it. He could not give that up.

Faye left the room and the party all together. She sat in her car thinking. She never wanted a relationship before and she had just demanded one from Damon. She knew that it would never work out. She was too independent and everything had to be her way. She knew that Damon was the same way. Sure they would have their fun, and then everything would be the same again.
Faye got out of the car and walked up to the front porch of her house. Why did she hope that things would not turn out the way she knew they would? She opened the door and went inside. She went straight up to her room and took off all of her clothes and climbed into the bed. She was so tired and all she wanted to do was sleep and maybe her dreams would give her the answers that she was looking for.
Faye woke up cold. She did not open her eyes. She just reached out with her arm and tried to grab the covers that must have fallen away from her naked body. That was when she felt the arms that had wrapped around her. She opened her mouth to cry out. A mouth came down on hers. She knew that mouth and the kiss. "Damon," she whispered.
The arms wrapped more tightly around her. She let out a soft laugh and wrapped her arms around him. "Good decision," she whispered into his ears and kissed him back.
