Stefan stood in front of the door to Damon's penthouse apartment. Damon had given him a key and now he was looking for it. Stefan continued to search his pockets one by one. 'Where is it?' he asked himself.
That was when the door swung opened and Stefan looked up in surprise. His mouth opened in shock. Leaning on the doorframe was one of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in all of his years. She was exotic. She was wearing only a short silk red robe with its belt tied loosely around her waist. It looked as if it was about to fall off at any moment. Stefan found himself hoping that it would. He shook his head trying to make the thought go away.
He looked up at her face. Her hair was black as night and it framed her pale face. It was her eyes that got to him. He could feel himself sinking into their golden depts. He knew that he should not feel this way, there was Elena after all. The vision smiled at him and he continued to stare at her.
Faye looked back at the stranger who was staring at her with interest. She raised a brow. "Can I help you?"
"Um," he started. "Is this Damon's place?"
Faye nodded, "It is."
"I'm Stefan."
Faye looked back at him. She had to think for a moment. The name was familiar to her. "Damon's brother?"
Stefan nodded, "And you are?"
She gave him a seductive smile. "Faye Chamberline."
"Do you live here to?"
She laughed. "I might as well, all the time that I spend here. Why don't you come in." Faye moved so she was no longer blocking the doorway.
Stefan stepped into the apartment and looked around. He did not see Damon. "Where is my brother?"
"He's in the shower. He should be out shortly. Could I get you something?"
"No thank you." Stefan continued to keep a close eye on her. She was like no one that he had ever met before. There was surely something different about her, and he wanted to know what it was.
Faye was not so sure that she liked the attention that she was getting from Damon's brother. She usually liked male attention, but it looked as he was trying to see into her soul. She did not like people trying to do that. She knew that there was no way that they could get into her thoughts, but it made her really uncomfortable. She decided to stare back at him. He was different than his brother. He was handsome, yes, but there was also a softness that she felt in him. It reminded her of Diana. Maybe one day the two of them will meet.
Damon had heard the noise of someone at the door while he was in the shower. He quickly got out and got into some clothes. He opened the bedroom door to find Faye and Stefan staring at each other. They were not doing anything else, just sitting there staring. It did not appear that either one of them realized it. Damon knew that some of Stefan's telepathic powers were at work.
"Hello, brother," he said calmly walking towards Stefan.
Stefan blinked and turned away from Faye. "Hello, Damon. I see that you are well."
"Of course. What brings you here to New York?"
"Business," Stefan answered giving his head a sharp nod in Faye's direction.
Damon understood and nodded. Faye also understood. They did not want her in the room while they talked about it. She headed towards the bedroom. "Why don't the two of you talk while I take a shower and get ready to leave."
Damon turned a questioning gaze at Faye. She smiled at him. "I have classes today. I think that I will actually go. Can't have fun all the time you know."
"Ah, but we can," he whispered grinning at her.
She laughed, "Stop trying to distract me. I'm going to class today, and I mean it."
"Very well."
Faye walked into the bedroom and shut the door. She heard the two brothers start to talk to each other.

After Faye had put on some clothes she noticed that there was female voices coming from the other room. She rushed through her hair and makeup, and opened the bedroom door. There were two new additions to the room. A blonde and a red head. The red head was sitting a bit too close to Damon. 'If she got any closer she would be sitting in his lap.' Faye thought to herself.
She looked at Stefan, and again he was staring at her. He had an odd sense about him. Faye felt as if he was trying to see through her. She was feeling a bit uncomfortable. She smiled at him and gave him a wink. She saw the blush that came to his cheeks.
Elena noticed the look on Stefan's face. She started to worry. "Stefan," she started. "What's the.." She noticed Faye. She just stared at her. Damon turned to see what was of interest to Stefan and Elena. He saw Faye standing in the doorway of the bedroom. She was just standing there with a smile on her face. She turned her smile on him. "Aren't you going to introduce me, Damon?"
Damon smiled back at her just because he could not help himself. "Over there with my brother is Elena, and this is Bonnie." Damon never once took his eyes off of her. "Bonnie, Elena, this is Faye."
The three of them only gave polite nods. Faye headed towards the door, and got her heavy coat out of the near by closet. Damon frowned at her. "Where are you going?"
Faye turned her head and smiled at him as she put on her coat. "I would really like to stay, but I have been neglecting my classes lately. I decided that I would actually go to one today."
"You will be back?"
"Of course I will. I'll come around later tonight after I have dinner with the girls."
Damon nodded and stared at her. She knew that he was waiting. She walked over to him and bent down and kissed him. When she lifted her head she turned it and winked at the redhead. "Till tonight," she whispered to Damon. He nodded to reply.
