Faye smiled at Portia. "If you wanted to come to the party all you had to do was say so. We would not mind you being here, although none of us like you much."
"Oh, shut up, Faye." Portia said. "You know that I did not want to come to this party."
"Then why are you here?"
"Revenge."
"Really?" Faye raised a brow. "What for?"
"All of you embarrassed us the last time we tried to do something about you. You do not deserve to live."
"If you remember, I was not a part of that."
"Maybe so, but you are the worst."
"Is that so?"
"You know it is."
"And that is why you want to get rid of us, because we embarrass you?" Cassie asked. Cassie had walked up to stand beside Faye.
"No, we want to get rid of you because you are a danger to this town."
"How can that be true?" Diana asked. She now stood at Faye's other side. "We were here long before you. And our family built this town."
"Oh shut up. None of that means anything. You are evil."
"That is not true. We have done no wrong to you, or anybody in this town."
"What about all those deaths while we were in high school?"
"We did not do those." Faye answered.
"Maybe not, but you contributed."
No one replied they knew that they did cause them in a way by letting Black John out. Faye took a few steps toward Portia. Portia pointed her gun at her. "What about you, Portia? There was our principal. He was true evil. Did you not help him?"
"That was not my fault. He tricked us. But you should talk Faye, you were real close to him, were you not?"
"Maybe, but I did right my wrong."
"That's enough. I'm tired of talking to you." Portia's brothers came forward. They were ready for a fight. They knew that the circle would give them one.
Deborah stepped forward. She was different now. She was more feminine but her attitude was still there. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Jurgen and Lowdown. You must really be stupid to think that you can beat us this time."
"We have been studying you. We know you, we know how you fight. This time we came prepared." Logan replied.
"Yeah, Faye this is not high school anymore. We got smarter and stronger." Portia put in.
Faye laughed. "You said it yourself, Portia. This is not high school anymore. We take out talents more seriously. We learned how to use them better, and we have evolved. You and your brothers, dear girl, are no match for us."
"We shall see."
"So we shall."
"You were suppose to wait for me Portia." The voice came from their right.
Faye turned to look at Stephanie. She had five men standing there with her. "What are you doing here?"
Stephanie smiled, "Are you surprised to see me? No matter, I was invited here. Portia is my cousin and she invited me here."
Adam walked forward to stand beside Cassie. "That whole family is crazy."
"It appears so." Cassie replied.
Stephanie did not pay any attention to them. She looked only at Faye. "I'm going to kill you, Faye, and there is nothing that you can do about it."
"Oh really?"
"That's right. You almost ruined my chance at happiness."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Damon."
"You mean you want to kill me because of him. He is not worth all the trouble girl."
"He would have made me immortal, but you took him away from me. I did find another way, but still I wanted him."
"What are you talking about know?"
"Stop pretending that you don't know what I'm talking about. You know that Damon is a vampire."
Faye laughed. "Something has happened to you Stephanie. You are going crazy. There is no such thing as vampires."
"But there is."
Portia looked at her cousin. She knew that something wasn't right. Stephanie was not acting like her usual self. Something was wrong, and she did not know what. "Stephanie, what are you talking about? Maybe you should go home. We can handle things here."
"Shut up, Portia. You have no idea what is going on. I've got some new friends, powerful friends. They have given me help to get my revenge. These pitiful humans are no match to me."
"Stephanie, you don't know what you are getting into. They are not what you think."
"I know what I am doing cousin. Stay out of it."
"She is right Stephanie, you have no idea what you are getting into."
"No Faye, you do not know what you are dealing with."
"Then tell me, what am I dealing with?"
"I already told you, vampires."
Faye shook her head, "Vampires are not real, Stephanie. You are believing in fairy tales."
"But they are, Faye, and soon I will be one of them." Stephanie laughed. "I'm tired of this non-sense. Let's get down to business."
"What business, Stephanie. It looks to me that you are playing a game."
"This is no game."
"But it is."
Stephanie sighed, "Well, we'll just have it your way Faye. This will be a game then."
Faye smiled at her opponent. "Good, what are the rules?"
"There are none."
