Hunter pushed the girl's hair off her neck and kissed her softly on the exposed skin. He smiled as her heard her soft sign and she leaned back into him.
He looked around at all the dancers and could smell their blood.
Suddenly, something caught the faint light, and he moved the girl on his lap to one side so he could see what it was. It was a girl's hair. But, girl would be too weak a word to describe her. She was perfect. For a human at least.
"Let's go dance." He murmured into the girl's, her name was something like Kelly, ear and nudged her into a standing position. She pouted for a moment before following him.
Hunter frowned slightly as he realized that the girl was not in fact alone but with two males that looked like the same person. Twins, Hunter sneered to himself. They danced on either side of her with both hands on her slender waist. He frowned at the thought of anyone touching the girl like that, but couldn't figure out why. She was just a human after all. Expendable, vermin.
"Hunter?" Kelly's deliberately low sexy voice intruded into his thoughts as she grasped the sides of his face and physically turned it to look down at her.
"What do you want Kelly?" Hunter asked with a touch of impatience. The girl obviously didn't realize that she meant nothing to him beyond filling his hunger.
"My name is Keely, not Kelly." She frowned at him before going on. "I want to go somewhere where we can be....." She paused and while still staring into his golden eyes, ran her hand lightly down his stomach, "Alone."
"As do I, my dear...." He trailed his hand slowly down the exposed skin of her back and led her away from the dancers to one of the back rooms his employees kept clear for instances such as these. The other girl could wait. She was after all, just a human. Kelly smiled and held tightly onto his hand.

Diana watched in disappointment as the red-headed man walked away with the scantily clad woman clinging to him. She had felt something, different, about him, but couldn't figure out what exactly.
She watched in amusement as Chris tried to pick up some fantastically beautiful women from the bar and when they walked away from him laughing and holding each other in a somewhat too familiar way, Diana started outright laughing.
It had been a fun night so far. It was almost one in the morning, but she still wasn't feeling tired. They had gone to the rave first, then left there and had been in this little out of the way club, the Black Dahlia, ever since. There was an incredible feeling of power in the place, and Diana felt euphoric simply sensing it.
She looped her arms around Doug's neck and grinned up at him as he placed his hands back on her hips. "Thanks for bringing me Doug."
"No problem. I love having beautiful women around." Doug grinned and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. Diana laughed again.
Hunter watched as the two males lead the girl, her mind told him Diana but it was all he could get from her, to a car parked nearby and he frowned.
What was their connection to her?
"Sir?" A werewolf separated himself from the shadows of the hallway and walked to where Hunter stood looking out of the window.
"What?"
"Those three witches that just left, we don't have them on any NightWorld record." The werewolf said nervously hoping Hunter would not hold the official records failings against him.
"Witches?" Hunter whipped around and stared at the werewolf.
"Yes, they had a cloaking spell around them, but Sylvia Weald sensed it. Quite powerful witches."
"No record of them at all?" Hunter turned back to the window to try and catch a last glimpse of them.
"Non." The werewolf inclined his head slightly and left leaving Hunter to his own thoughts.
"They're part of the New Salem coven of witches." He surmised for himself. He smiled. It was going to be very, interesting, trying to persuade them into the NightWorld.
"Diana..." He mused to himself. He didn't particularly like witches, but he could make an exception. She would taste so, sweet. He smiled again to himself.
