Don't Let Depression Get You
When depression pulls you down in the pits,
Rest for awhile but never quit.
When life's stresses seem too many to bear,
Remember that Jesus Christ is always there,
Right beside you to help carry your load
Even when you're on an uphill road.
For every hill you top in life,
For all your toils and strife,
Someday you will wear a golden crown.
Your tears of sadness will be turned around.
Frowns of worry caused by life's stresses
Will become smiles of pure happiness.
As long as there is just one ray of hope,
Faith in the Lord can help you to cope
With your everyday problems and life in general,
Whether they be animal, vegetable, or mineral.
