Call of God
I never wanted to be but a good mother and wife.
I felt that this was the call of God on my life.
I don't understand why life has treated me so,
That through so many hardships I have had to go.
I have dealt with my emotional pain.
I realize I have so much to gain.
What has been in the past is forgotten, forgiven, and gone,
And now it's time for me to move on.
I now find the good, true happiness I deserve,
And finally I'm free of life's major curves.
The Holy Spirit guides me each step of my way,
And leads me always to a great new day!
