This was a fun stitch.
I love birds and this one is unique.
I changed the alphabet fibers to Old Berry instead of 2 CC's.
I also left off my initial and added a button.
I used some of the fabric from my Aunts Mother for backing and sewed some trim around the pillow.
It turned out just great and I enjoyed every stitch-today was the first day I really had to myself to devote to stitching.
There is just so much going on in our lives right now that stitching has been on the back burner!
As I stitched this today I felt a sense of calm wash over me and I am reminded again and again just what a saving grace my love of needlework is.
