Oh MY! I am LOVING this one.
I stitched a band from the Winter Band Sampler by LHN and turned it into this wonderful needle/pin box.
I made a pincushion from some fabric that has the colors of the design for the inside of the box to hold needles and pins-it's stuffed with crushed walnut shells.
I stained the box a rich color and mounted my design.
I used home-made chenille trim around the design. There WILL be more of these in my stitching future :)
