I hope it's about me

I hope it's about me.
The words you wrote, so eloquent.
As if you spoke from my own dreams.
I read it yet once more.
To cement the thought that you.
You want me.
Things I have pondered way too many times.
How do I ask?
Just don't let me have the truth.
Keep me disillusioned.
It's simple in the long run to be ignorant.
Yet the words touch.
Raise the hair on my neck.
Chilling to know a soul possesses such emotion.
It's all that I can think about.
Common place terms.
Decidedly placed for my enjoyment.
Oh how I want to be.
Those beautiful eyes.
I search and all I have formed.
Is the same lump that remained.
So as I read I trace.
I melt.
I fall over and over again.
For now I'll pretend as if I.
Am the object of your love.
I'd give anything to have you here.
By my side tonight.
But this will have to wait.
Put on the shelf once again.
Staring at your letter.
I hope it's about me.
