some other escape
from another desire
sparks between the worlds
and everything disappears in their wake
a dream i'll never fully wake from
into me and through you and out of your guitar
some other escape when my voice is gone
some other escape when no one sees
something like a paper scream
it's never all the way gone
never quite real
but real enough to feel
