A Bad Sonnet With Non-Melancholic Content

"...There should be more stories which
deal with silverchair as some happy persons."
- n-c-g

He was to young, and a little naïve.
he was not silly, nor stupid, nor dumb:
He trusted everyone below the sun,
And everthing they told he would believe.

They tried to fool him; he did not perceive.
Soon he was completely hypnotized, numb:
This poor boy his friends wanted to stun.
That trick they should never again conceive...

He did not know what was the thing he bit
And his friends kept saying 'Go on, go on!',
As they were grinning, laughing about it...

On the ground his friends were standing upon
He made a face, and felt an urge to sit:
'OH MY GOD!', he said. 'It was a crayon...!'
