Mu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, was founded on April 16, 1946 on the campus of Claflin University, Orangeburg, South Carolina. It was founded by 15 charter members and 3 sponsors.

Mu Chapter is composed of approximately 44 undergraduate members strong in different academic fields of study. Of its 56 years in existence, it is the only sorority on Claflin's campus that has NEVER been on probation. Let us continue to keep that tradition alive, MIGHTY MU!!!
