History of Clark Educational Center
Clark Educational Center, Inc. was first known as Clark Kiddie School, a laboratory pre school of Clark Bible Institute which is a theological school that trains men and women called by God for the ministry. Clark Kiddie School was started in June, 1987 with two teachers and about thirty pre schoolers. Later, parents of these pre schoolers spouted a desire in 1991 to have a Christian school where they can enroll their chidden in the elementary level. The founding father Rev. Edilberto T. Cruz, Sr. took then a vision of establishing a "Bible base" Christian school and wasted no time of making efforts in consolidating the ways and means.
Pursuant to this predominant desire, this came true in 1991 when the school firstly offered a primary grades 1 and 2 with permit to operate No. E-001 from the Department of Education Culture and Sports (DECS). In the meantime, CEC was registered in the Security and Exchange Commission on July 24, 1992 as a non-stock/non-profit institution. CEC received its Government Recognition No. PE-001 for the Pre-School Department on March 18, 1993 and Government recognition No. E-004 for its Elementary Department in February 1997. Subsequently, CEC has offered currently its secondary education to provide sequel of its primary education, expansion of its philosophical existence, and wider achievement of its educational mission and goals.
