2002: A Year in Review The Year started in Charleston, SC where I rang in the New Year with Kirsten and Bevin. Confusion lead us to "the Square of Charleston" where a ball was supposed to be dropped, but wasn't. We were on hit on by some creepy Chicago guys, and I fell asleep early on while a band was playing a live concert in the livingroom we sat in...Yeah, pathetic.
Snow fell on Jan. 2 and caused many accident, including one involving my mom. The South can't act right when the ground is white. Businesses closed and I was forced to stay home.
Jan. 7th, I leave for Ohio to start my new job at Dana TRP and to live with Hall's. Life is crazy and I feel far away and all alone. It snowed numerous times and I enjoyed myself greatly. Thank goodness Northerners know how to drive. I convinced shawn that we should dress up as tacky superhero's SIDEKICKS and to go out into public. Wow! quite the mix reaction from the public! Hehe, that was fun.
MidMarch, I go home! for a week, where I enjoyed a busy spring break. Starting in Clemson, SC to visit Kirsten, hang out with Bevin, and also saw some other South Aiken friends. And of course, I went to the beach and got some color back into my skin. I got to see my grandparents; my family, grandparents, and I celebrate my sister's 21st and my 19th birthday. So glad to be home. Then, went to Cola town to see MUUUUUURPh and to be crazy as we usually are. There we went to to Chuckie Cheese's with many Gamecocks, some SAers, Murph, and I. What a blast, we were kids again.
April comes, and Kettering B section starts back. I'm excited; it's good to see my college buddies again. Rough semester, but I manage to weasel my way through it and to get on Dean's list. Over the term, I went to Canada for my Bday and had a Buzz Light Year cake! Helped Sig Nu out with fundraising. Got to know people better and overall, had a better spring semester than fall...
Summertime, of course, KU students still in school. I decided to transfer, my lazy self filled out the paper work.
Back home! Summer jobs: Too many, at least 80 hours per week of work. Lifeguard and teaching swimming lessons. Stopped working for Vector. Saw some old friends, hung out with Kirsten, Bevin, and of course, the awesome lifeguard staff of Fermata.
Transfer to Clemson University...little confused, lost on a BIIIIIIIIG campus. Met a few new people. By the end of the semester, I became friends with many wonderful people. I was the crazy fan at the Clemson/Carolina game, painted with purple and orange latex in the freezing cold. Found out I disslike psychology...ROTC is a minor part of my life, but still have some influences on my life...
Break Time, I get to go to MI! for a week. Got to see everybody I knew (well, wanted to see). WEnt skiing, hit part of a building, fell down too many times...(thanks, john). Hung out with the guys of Sig Nu, got sick, and everyone took care of me. Awww, how sweet of you guys. Played lots of video games.
Christmas. Awkward, but good. Played lots of video games with bro, had tons of fun. Hung out with bev and kirst, ben, and keeley. Very awesome break!!! Best ever. Then new year's eve...well, have to wait til next year to hear bout this one.
