Captn. "Howling Mad" Murdock
Captn. Murdock was the Team's pilot in Vietnam. He was never officially part
of the A-Team, though. He was known for being able to fly anything with
wings. He officially flew helicopters but could fly any plane he ever
encountered, even experimental aircraft. He claimed insanity after
the A-Team was convicted of robbing the Bank of Hannoi. He was
sentenced to a V.A.(Veteran's Administration) Hospital for ten years. The
A-team often rescued Murdock when ever they went on a mission. Some of the
best scams took place in the hospital while Face tried to get Murdock out of it.
Murdock was almost as good at the cons as Face. Murdock's insanity
constantly spilled over into every part of his life. Even while on missions
he acted the part of a "Crazy Fool!" B.A. was constantly about to
strangle Murdock for acting so crazy. Even after Murdock was officially sane,
he retained a bit of his act. In the words of B.A., "You still crazy Fool!"
Murdock has been known to say:
Are we a bunch of groovy..."
and
