BIKE GALLERY

This is the 800 Intruder that we had for a while. Great bike but we needed a little more for two-up riding so we traded up to the 1400. Water cooled, shaft drive; gas, tires & oil is all it took to keep this bike on the road. Never a serious problem with this one, and it was a looker too!

I got "caught" working on the bike. This picture looks closer to the real color than the one above. I'm not sure what I was doing this particular day, maybe checking the air filters. I kind of wish I'd kept this one, but then again I wish that about all of them.

This is the current ride, my '97 1400 Intruder. Way better for 2-up, this bike is strong. We're still running on the stock suspension but there is room for improvement there. Somewhat notorious for slipping in top gear I'm thinking about a Barnett clutch kit in the near future. The slip in this bike isn't that noticeable yet but with all the 2-up we do it won't be too much longer.

The Magna arriving home from Georgia where we bought it. This is Terry's ride but until she is ready I'll be keeping it warm.

I call this one "THE GHOST". I saw this bike at a CMA rally in Sumpter, SC. It's a Harley cop bike that's been well cared for.

Here's a "Dresser" that looks much better in person. This bike went home with a trophy or two.

This yellow flamed "bagger" was one of the best bikes I saw that day. Then again they were all great bikes.

Yellow flamed seems to be the color scheme of choice now-a-days. This old "hard tail" is a beauty though.

Terry trying a Magna on for size. Six months later she would have her own. We were in the Honda tent at the Daytona Speedway during Biketoberfest 2000 and I got a shot of the new VTX before it was released for sale to the public. Since everyone has seen it by now I won't post the photo.

An old restored Indian in one of the tents at the speedway in Daytona. There were lots of new and restored bikes there and demo rides galore but the lines were way too long. There was racing that day too, but all the shots show more track than bikes. The best prices I've seen were available from the vendors at Biketoberfest (most anyway). We both got good leather jackets for about 1/3 the price we'd seen anywhere else, made the trip worth while.
