The Scholarship grant process is initiated with a written "Request for Scholarship" submitted to the Board of Trustees of A3SFIT. The Board of Trustees has the exclusive right to select the recipient of the Scholarship, and may decide, at times, not to award a Scholarship in any year where no noteworthy requests are submitted. Non-disbursed Scholarship funds in any specific year shall be rolled over to the following calendar year.
The "Request for Scholarship" proposal should be a one-page document containing the following information:

Awardee
The winner of our A3SFIT Scholarship in 2004 was Mr. Yves Hofer, an ETHZ 1998 graduate in Architecture, who at the time was working toward a Master Degree in Film Directing at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University in New York City. A check in the amount of US $500 was presented to Yves Hofer in New York City by our A3SFIT Treasurer Raymond Schaeffer. In accepting the award check from Raymond, Yves stated that the "A3SFIT scholarship contributed considerably to my tuition for the academic year 2003-2004 at the Tisch School of the Arts and therefore to my efforts in the pursuit of my feature film debut in the United States.
