These photos were taken my trip through the Altoona area in the summer of 2000. Notice how the trees have grown around the curve greatly reducing the view.
The Funicular
The “Funicular” is an incline plane designed to take you from the visitors center at Horseshoe Curve Historic Landmark up to the train tracks of Horseshoe Curve.
