Via's F40PH's, the 6400 units, were built in 1986 and 1987. They have proved interesting for railfans because of the promotional units. In 1990 there was the Diet Pepsi unit, in 1997 the Home Hardward unit, 2000 say 5 Cool-aid units, 2003 had the CBC 25th anniversary, the Telus unit and Operation Life Saver while 2004 was the year of the 6 Spiderman 2 units. In 2001 the last of the LRC's was replaced by the 900 series by GE. They are P42DC's.
