 Click here for "Cold" by Static-X -[ The scene opens up inside of Jordan's Fintess and Athletics Center. It is very small and limited in space on the inside, but features most of the necessary work-out equiptment. It is also the favorite place for a certain WoW superstar to train at. Clinks of piling weights are heard in the background. The camera focuses in on a solitaire figure benching an ungodly amount of weight like no tomorrow. Jordan, the owner of the club, walks up to the man and excuses himself for interrupting the man's pace. The man sits up showing that he is none other than B-Pac. ]- Jordan: " B-Pac, I just saw something on television that I think you should watch. I didn't get the whole thing on tape, but I got the more important parts. That is, IF you are interested. " B-Pac: " Yeah, okay. Put it on the AV monitor. " Jordan: " Will do. I'm headed to the house after I put the tape in for you. You know the deal, just lock up when you finish. I'll see you around. "  -[ As Jordan leaves, B-Pac wipes his face with a towel and drapes it over his head. The tape eventually begins playing. It begins with Selena in mid-sentence. B-Pac's eyes light up and his eyes grow a tad glassy. He watches the rest of the promo without blinking. As soon as the promo is over, the screen cuts to static snow. B-Pac takes the towel from over his head and wipes his face with it once again. He tosses it aside and clears his throat. ]- B-Pac: " My dear Selena. It is very true that I have changed... and that I have grown into an ugly shell of what I used to be... but what have you done? This alliance that you have made... this unholy unification with Prez Darren... you have joined sides with the very sinister side of humanity that many great warriors have fought to silence... and failed. You have made an alliance with forces much higher than you know. The possible outcome of the situation you have taken part in poses a very legitimate threat to this place and all those in it... I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! " B-Pac: " What you spoke of is true. We have had our share of great battles in the past... and it is inevitable that we will have many more in the future. Though I must be blunt and point out a thing or two right now. I understand that I have hurt you... possibly beyond the point of mending our relationship. But you must understand this: I hurt you NO MORE than you hurt me and yourself. Do you not remember the situation that I was placed in? I was completely out of place in Dark Force... I had to constantly deal with only getting to see you for a few short moments a day while the other two memebers, Draven and Wicked D, were constantly with you. That was your choice, however, so the entire blame of you getting hurt is YOURSELF. And you know this. I must admit to you this... as a man of few emotions and even fewer ways of expressing the emotion that I do have... there is something that evokes strong feelings deep within my soul about you. Feelings that I thought had left my existance long ago. Feelings that I no longer wish to have. Feelings that I do not know the proper way to handle. " -[ B-Pac hangs his head and stares at the floor. He shakes off his depression and leans back to continue his work-out. B-Pac lets out loud bursts of anger and grits his teeth as he works out his frusteration. The scene fades... to...black. ]- |
