Aims & Objects of Burning Brain Society?

Burning Brain Society (BBS) is a Civil Society Organisation" (C.S.O.) which was established in the year 2002. The Society is a non-political and non-religious association intended to serve the social needs of the people without any distinction of caste, colour, and creed.

Since its inception the society is working with all sections of the society but the main thrust are are the young people. A separate wing of the "Burning Brain Society" works for providing guidance to the young people, the philosophy on which these guidance workshops are held and organized is that one should work in a field for which one has aptitude and interest instead of following others with herd mentality.

BBS works against Tobacco Smoking & Substance abuse and aggressively follows a policy of discouraging the use of Tobacco, Alcohol & Drugs through proper guidance & information. BBS is also engaged in making movies and documentaries on cultural heritage, education and topics of self help.

Some of the other objectives for which the society was formed are listed hereunder:

To deliberate and act for improving the social, sociological, socio-political, educational and economical conditions of the general public.

To act so as to help the general public have a better and responsive understanding of Health matters, personal hygiene, social and community hygiene, population control, HIV & AIDS, environmental issues & deforestation, animal welfare.

To spread information and awareness about business, management and other such allied issues linked with development and progress.

To help the down-trodden, economically weaker and under privileged section of the society, so as to improve their conditions and help them become self sufficient.

To work for preserving and documentation of the cultural heritage.

To open up educational institutes, school(s), college(s), training institutes, conduct training, hold seminar, debates, meetings, conferences, awareness activities to promote the object mentioned under the other sub-heading of "Aims & Objective."

To bring awareness among the public about their legal rights, moral goods and the duties so as to counter the evil of ignorance, exploitation, corruption, crime and illegal practices prevalent in the community.

To move the court for prevention of any illegal activities and upholding human rights, To move the court for issue of directions or order or writs, in the nature of habeas corpus, amdamus, prohibition, quo waranto and certorari, which ever may be appropriate.

To Publish, Print, edit, translate and compose magazines, books, newspapers, audio-visual material and cinematographic material.

To bring in any illegal or unfair and unjust activities to the notice of the concerned authority/authorities.
