Jeffrey Dahmer
Jeffrey Dhamer was born in Milwaukee on May 21, 1960. But was raised in Bath, Ohio, a suburban middle class community. He seemed to come from a normal middle class family, with one small problem, His parents hated each other., they were always fighting and paid little attention to Jeffrey.
Since his parents had little time for him, and because he had no friends. Jeffrey retreated into a fantasy world. As a youngster he would torture small animals, skin them and burry some. Others he would leave out on display. For a short while he had a pet cemetery next to his home.
By the time Jeffrey was in high school he was drinking heavily and starved for attention. So he started to act out. Falling down in the halls in mock epileptic seizures, he snuck into the yearbook picture of the honor society. The editor was so upset he blocked Jeffery’s face out of the picture leaving the body. Once again Jeffrey was Mr. No one. His fantasies of torture, mutilation and death has also become more intense during this time.
In 1978 Jeffrey’s bother and father divorced leaving 18 year old Jeffrey all alone. It was during this time that he committed his first murder of a 19 year old hitch hiker Steven Hicks. Jeffrey tried to attend college but dropped out of Ohio State University and decided that the Army would be a good place for him. He was discharged two years into a six year hitch. His army buddies said Jeffrey was a regular guy normally but when he was drinking another side of Jeffrey came out one that was moody, aggressive, and defiant.
After his discharge from the army Jeffrey went to live with his grandmother in West Allis near Milwaukee. He got a job at a blood bank then in 1985 went to work for the Ambrosia Chocolate Company. Not long after he killed again. After going to a gay bar, Jeffrey and his victim went to a hotel after a night of drinking Jeffrey woke up to find the man dead. One year later, he killed again, another gay man. Jeffery kept the skull as a trophy.
In 1986 Dahmer was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior after urinating in front of some children. Two years later he lured a 13 year old Laotian boy into his apartment in Milwaukee, drugged him with a sedated drink and fondled him. Dahmer was arrested and charged with second degree sexual assault and enticement of a c hild for immoral purposes. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail. He was released in March 1990.
During the next year Dahmer killed three more men. Neighbors noticed a strange odor coming from his apartment.
May 1991, Dahmer was seen chasing a naked and bleeding teenage boy down an alley. When questioned by police Jeffrey explained that they were gay lovers and had had a fight after a night of drinking. Police thinking that this was some sort of “fag” thing let the boy go home with Dahmer. His remains were found in Jeffrey’s apartment. Over the next two months he would kill five more times.
Then in July of 1991 Milwaukee police saw a dazed man stumbling toward them, with handcuffs still attached to one wrist. He told them that Jeffrey had tried to murder him. When police went to Dahmer apartment to investigate the found Polaroid’s of body parts and mutilated corpses. In the freezer they found three human heads an assortment of organs intestines, lungs, liver, kidneys and a heart that Dahmer said he was saving to eat later. Another head was stored in the refrigerator. Seven skulls and five complete skeletons were stashed in various places around the apartment along with assorted body parted. 11 victims were found in the apartment. Dahmer confessed to killing 17.
In the end Jeffrey Dahmer was found competent to stand trial and was convicted on 17 counts of murder, necrophilia and cannibalism. He was sentenced to 1070 years in prison.
On November 28, 1994 Jeffrey was attacked and bludgeoned to death by another prisoner.(the serial killer files 200-203).
