GAME SIX: Under 8/2’s VS Doonside WON 36-22 ---------- Thank you again to our Sponsors ‘Celebrations Galore Party Hire’. Well done to the boys this week after a few near misses we finally got our first win for the year!! Daniel played an excellent game today scoring two tries (2x5) and making a conversion (1x2), he also tackled strongly and won the Man of the Match trophy this week. Haiden scored his first try this season (1x5) and played an all-round strong game earning him this weeks Defender trophy. Milton scored two tries (1x3 and 1x5) and made some try-saving tackles, which won him the Pizza Award. Riley converted a try (1x2) and made some good runs also. Corey scored a try (1x5) and just missed out on another one in a great performance at dummy half. Brendan converted a try (1x2) and ran strongly the whole game. Bradley tried hard all game and made a few good tackles and passes. Travis led the way with his big charges up the middle – unfortunately he was injured near the end of the game. Lachlan showed his speed in making many long runs and was safe in defence at fullback. Moroni tackled very strongly and tried his best to make it hard for Doonside to get anywhere near their try-line._____________________________________________________________________________ MATCH REPORT - GAME 8 - VS Quakers Hill Drew 20-20 Thank you once again to our Sponsors ‘Celebrations Galore Party Hire’. Well, bad luck this week boys – we almost had the game won – what happened? Haiden played an excellent game today scoring two tries (2x5) and constantly making long runs. Moroni the future WWE wrestler made some bone crunching tackles today earning him Defender of the week trophy. Travis as usual ran straight and hard up the middle earning himself the Pizza Award this week. Bradley converted a try (1x2) and made some good tackles today. Corey made a great offload to Riley as he was being pushed out! Daniel just missed out on a long-range try but was still dangerous with the ball! Milton again ran and tackled strongly like he’s done every week – keep it up. Riley had one of his best games this year today, making some excellent runs and showing us his ball-handling skills. Brendan constantly moved up and got up in their faces making some BIG tackles! Lachlan we have to thank you for that big try-saving tackle you made on the un-suspecting Quakers player! Better luck next week boys – maybe listening and putting in effort at training could be to your advantage! No more mucking up!
