Yellowstone Historical Journal:  You have been chosen by Ferdinand V. Hayden, head of the United State's geological survey, to accompany him to the Yellowstone Area to compile a report for the government regarding the possibility of the area being designated as the first national park.  It is your responsibility to keep a journal of your observations while visiting the area. Choose to be either a geologist, zoologist, artist or photographer. Your journal should consist of at least 200 words and include no less than 5 journal entries.  (RUBRIC)
