Adoptee's Journey

We walk along lifes path every single day. Just trying to get our thoughts together on what we would say. When the day comes we finally meet our own, will they look at us differently to see us all grown. Not babies anymore.. the years gone by. Our hearts filled with lonliness, tears as we cry. Just wanting to be loved, to feel that we're real. Longing for that touch, a hug we can feel. And maybe just maybe that one day will come. We will walk proud knowing where we came from.
