In this edition: Lessons of the Week Went well...

Dear Parents The Star-MATH Renaissance has started. The students have been taking the first test on a computerized program, which will evaluate their performance on the basis of a National based student sample for the related grades (Gr.4; Gr.5; Gr.6). Students and Parents will have such results as soon as we can. The reports give a detailed work program for the future, which is the most valuable part of the testing. The related placement according to grades is less important considering the richness of the Math curriculum and the related activities we implement at Thacher.
We would like to tell you that this week all the E2 students will have to scan their Math work in Classroom and start building up this way on the Scope and Sequence Objectives ! Please, Stop & See how fun it is. You may also will to attend a session of testing with Math Renaissance, and have a sense of what the test is all about.

We'd like to thank all STUDENTS for their great performance at the Poetry Night last Thursday, as well as the parent community that contributed to the event. We hope everybody enjoyed it and learned more on what the children are doing in Writing and Reading. We appreciate the efforts of Mrs. Rooney to edit on her Newspaper the Research of E2 Students on "Pirates' History" immensely.
