I have a question and you haven't answered it here.

How long have you been writing?

Since I was six years old (1991) or so, but I can’t even understand what I was on about. I’ve been writing with a career in mind since the beginning of this year.

Have you been published?

No. I’m about to be published in a non-for-general-release writing anthology called Pendulum 2004, I’ve given a reading and won a youth week competition with my writings.

What programs do you use for your writing?

I mostly use Word. I also sometimes use Notepad and Wordpad, as well as the occasional use of ScriptMaker, which can be downloaded.

Where do you get your ideas from?

I usually use songs and lyrics as inspirations, sometimes pictures I see or stuff that's happened in my life.

Can you write a story for me?

Unless you’re paying me, no (come on, I’m always broke. Why do you think I’m using a free site?)

How do you make a site?

Umm… if you go to a tutorial or a free web host (like the one I use, Angelfire), they’ll explain it better than I can.

Can you make me a site?

No.

Are all these writings yours?

Yes. If I use a quote from somewhere else, I put a disclaimer for it.

Why do you keep changing your layouts?

Because I feel like it.

The main page says that the site’s down. Why?

Probably because either one) I’m changing layouts, or two) I’m making some huge repair that people would get confused around the site with. For example, when I was replacing my Writings page, I closed the site for two and a half hours or so. This doesn’t happen as often as you think it might. The site will always reappear again.

How do I save your writings to my computer?

Best way of doing it would be to save the Internet page itself to your server (File > Save As… at the page). This works as well for the scripts.

I've put some of your writings on my site, but why do I have to link to you?

Common courtesy.

If I email you, when will you answer?

Usually within the same day or the next couple. I check my email every day. However, if you send ANY email to princess_aurin@hotmail.com (my MSN Messenger address), I will not receive it, nor will it be answered. Only send email to kira_mars5@hotmail.com.

Can I use your writings on my site?

E-mail me with your request, the writing you want and your site, and I’ll see (I’ll rarely say no).

Can I use quotes from your writings in my signatures?

Yes. It’s not necessary to link me, but give me credit.

How do you get hits on your website?

The URL is on all my profiles across the Internet and it’s my email signature. Other than that, I’m really not quite sure… it’s probably on search engines somewhere.

Where did you learn to write?

School (see, it’s good for something), and I’m studying a diploma in writing. I read a lot.

Will you host my writings on your site?

At this point in time, no.

Why are there warnings?

Because I’m aware my site is not completely child-safe. I don’t think any children should be lurking around this site, but I’m not about to put ratings on it because I don’t particularly believe in them. So instead there’s a warning on some stories to tell you if there’s something that could be disturbing. In other words, read at your own caution and I cannot be held responsible for any consequences rising from children reading my writings.

Where do you get your images from?

Depends what images we’re talking about here. The main one you see on each page was designed by my friend Marishka and used with her permission. Most of the other images are contained in my blog, and they’re either taken with credit from other sites or they’re my own personal photos. The final lot of images are the linkable images in the Links.

What coding do you use?

HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language), which I mostly learnt in computer studies way back in year 10. There could be a bit of Java Script somewhere.

How did you make your site?

I use Angelfire as a free host, and mainly use the advanced editor (you do all the coding yourself rather than using something that hands you the code and you just paste). I fixed the main page and I use that as a layout for every other page, I only need to change a small amount. All the coding I’ve learnt is via school, looking at other sites, tutorials and my friend Coby fixing everything I screw up.

Can you put me in touch with such-and-such an author/writer/publisher/actor, etc?

While I do know a few, no. It's just a privacy issue.

How come you haven’t linked to my site?

Generally the sites I’ve linked to are sites I’ve joined up with, or sites I enjoy going to. If you want me to link to yours, all you have to do is e-mail me with your URL. I’ll rarely say no.

I have a question and you haven’t answered it here.

Go to the contact page and email me with it.
