THE GP 9's
Originally, GP9s had high short and long hoods to run long hood forward. The CN GP9RMs in service today have been rebuilt from these older GP9s by reducing the nose height to give visibility from the cab. They now usually run short nose forward.

CN 4129 & 4135 
 
Mar 12/05 these 2 GP9 rm's were sitting at Aldershot West. CN 4129:2 began as GP9, 4598:1 in 1957 was then renumbered to GP9 4216 in 1957 and rebuilt as GP9RM, in 1991. CN 4135 started out as GP9 4528 in 1956. In 1991 it was rebuilt as the GP9RM we see here
