    Welcome to New Hope UMC!  We are pleased to have you visit our web site.  Please feel welcome to visit with us in person also.  New Hope is a delightful, historic church (founded 1795) in the beautiful Pomaria countryside of Newberry County, South Carolina.

    We stand on the shoulders of generations of church members who built our foundations and we continue the work of bringing individuals to our Lord.  We worship together and encourage each other on our journey.  We encourage you on your journey.
