- Shamus graduated High School (June 2001)
- Shamus applied and was accepted to University in Halifax,NS
- Shamus moved to Halifax (summer 2001)
- Keith and Meghan are getting divorced
- Keith has moved back to Nfld (December 11, 2001)
- Erin is pregnant w/ Scotty's baby
- Baby is due in May 2002
- Shain has a 5 month(august 2001) old baby girl named Caylee
- Shain has been drug-free for 7 months(june 2001)
- Shain has been alcohol-free for 3 months(october 2001)
- Paul(former brother-in-law) moved to Cape St. Mary
- Saorbhreathach is for now a Fisherman
- Saorbhreathach moved to Norway
- Padraic dropped out of College
- Padraic has moved down to the Dominican Republic
- Julia is expecting ... baby isn't due until July 2002 (1 month left)
- Mom and Dad had 47th wedding Anniversary January 1
- Nick and wife are expecting baby ... due sometime in September 2002 (3 months left)
- Keith is moved into new house
- February 16 2002 Mom died.
- Jacob and girlfriend are expecting a baby due in November 2002
- Maitiú and girlfriend are also expecting a baby due in December 2002 (6 months left)
- Scotty and Erin got married

- Peter got job promotion
- Nick and family moved again; but still in NB
- Zach's son, Tim, is having a baby; due around Jan 2003
- Nick's wife had a baby boy on Sept 6th, 2002
