What the image shows?

H II Region and Reflection Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). It is in the constellation known as Dorado.

Where it is?

A reflection nebula, which is the oddly shaped dust-like cloud surrounded by a cluster of young, hot stars. Henize S22 is the bright star at the top of the picture, DEM L 106 is the larger nebula and N30B is the double bubble.

How far away it is?

These structures are located in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way, which is 160,000 light-years away. Henize S22 is 25 light-years from the N30B nebula.

What makes this image interesting?

From N30B nebula, Henize S22 would " appear 250 times as bright as the planet Venus" from Earth (http://hubblesite.org).
