Background & Text Colors

Right - Click on the Page

1. Choose Page properties

2. Click the Background Tab

3. Change to the colors you want by clicking the drop arrow

*hint.. go to MORE COLORS for more options, then to CUSTOM for even more!

Another note: You can still use the toolbar on the top of your screen for changing sentences on your pages to different colors!

*** TO use a texture or picture for your background:

1. Find the Image

2. SAVE AS to your folder

3. Follow steps 1 & 2 ^^

4. Click the browse button to locate the image

5. Click OK

When you use a background image in a cell.. you get an interesting effect, and can use that for details!!!

Some Look Better as a Background than Others.

NOTE!!!! SOME TEXTURES ARE TOO BUSY

But remember
to keep your background
SIMPLE!!

Using a busy background can look ok if you put your text in a table with a dark or simple background... try reading text on a busy background!!!!

This is very difficult to see & read - even BIG

Well, I guess at some point I have to just cut you loose, and hope you learned somthing about using backgrounds.

Remember to keep them simple and choose wisely!!! If you can preview them first, that is GOOD!!!
