Getting his groove back
Brian
Giles admits he's not in a groove at the plate -- yet. Giles says he'll
know when he really has his stroke back. "I've gotten some hits to
fall, and it's good to have the numbers where they're respectable," he
told the June 12 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "When I can get five home runs
in a week, I'll know." Giles, who expects to have his injured knee
re-evaluated next week, hopes he won't have to wear a brace much longer.
"It really cuts down on your mobility," he told the newspaper. |
