All About the oil spill

The spill started on March 24,1989 in the early morning in Alaska. The tanker Exxon Valdez had just gotten loaded with north slope Crude oil and scraped a reef. For two days oil spilled into the water. Over 260,000 barrels of oil poured out. After the spill the Exxon Valdez was renamed the Sea River Mediterranean. |
