Incubation

home

Penguins hold their eggs on their feet to protect them from the cold. After the female penguin lays the egg, the MALE keeps it on his feet while the female goes to sea to eat.  Penguin eggs can incubate anywhere from 40 to 60 days.  When the chick is hatched, they both take care of it.
