Lions are known as king of the jungle. Their legs are short and massive. They have big paws and sharp teeth. Wild lions usually live for 8 to 10 years. A male lion may be 1.8 to 2.4 meters long. Male lions weigh 177-227 kg. Their roar sounds like a loud gust of wind.
