Adventurine (color: green, blue, red): Appears tightly packed w/mettalic speckles. Sometimes called Indian Jade.
Agates (color: varies): There are several types.

Moss (milky white w/moss inside): Stimulate the closure of wounds, acts as a cleanser & strengthener.
Plume (milky white w/firey red grass inside): Visualization and binding
Amber (color: yellow or orange): An all-purpose gem. Excellent protector of children, and a spell strengthener. High Priestesses often wear these.
Amethyst (color: transparent crystalline purple): Transforms negativity and strengthens the third eye vision or intuitive senses. Put it under your pillow to alleviate nightmares. Good for headaches and preventing over-indulgence in alcohol.
Bloodstone (color: very dark green w/red or orange spots and bands): aka Heliotrope. Aids in removing both mental and physical blocks. Carried to avoid wounds, bring money, protect pregnant women, and provide clocking. When the stones energy is depleted it is said that the spots turn white. When this happens the stone should be returned the elements from it once came.
Carnelian (color: translucent red or orange): Stimulates career minded individuals. Makes for an excellent telepathy blocker.
Fluorite (color: variegated translucent blue/purple/pink/blue-green): Gives the appearance of two pyramids fused together. Used for meditation.
Geodes (stones balls w/crystal, amethyst, or topaz centers): aka thunder eggs. Stimulates dance and the free spirit. Used to concentrate one's power prior to its release.
Jasper (color: varies, hard and opaque): aka rain gatherers. Strengthens energy flow and relieves stress. Red = night protections/Green = healing/Brown = grounding and stability.
Malachite (color: blue or green w/variegated bands): Said to break in half to warn you of imminent danger. Enhances vision quests.
Moonstone (color: pink, white, blue, green): For a good night's sleep place the stone under your pillow. Can assist in unblocking emotions.
Obsidian (color: black): Protection.
Rose Quartz: Calm negative emotions.
Rhodochrosite (color: variegated pink and white): Shares it's energy with you.
Smokey Quartz: Protection and safe travel
Sodalite (color: deep blue w/white strands): Prevents emotional turmoil.
Sunstone (color: tangerine): An energizer and cellular healing stone. Used in cancer recovery.
Tiger Eye (color: honey brown w/banded tints): Luck
